New Designer Alert!

beauty of graey!

Starting your own business is a gamble.

But when designer Janet Kim’s brother won $2.5 million in the World Series of Poker, the cards suddenly seemed stacked in her favor – Graey, her new line of tops, was bankrolled.

A former student at the Chambre Syndicale in Paris, Kim incorporates the haute couture techniques she learned in school and while working for Christian Dior and Proenza Schouler, so you can count on these deceptively simple tees being long on style.

The first women’s collection consists of just five pieces. All classic styles in black or white, they satisfy the need for cut-above-ordinary basics that you’re always looking for but can’t seem to find.

Each of her delicate tees and tanks is embroidered with cutwork lace or lace applique that’s snipped away to reveal just a tiny bit of flesh.

After all, you don’t want to show all of your cards.
